Prior to becoming a life coach, Carla spent over 20 years honing her listening skills and interpersonal intuition in the marketing research industry. She began her career at Elrick & Lavidge, a national marketing research firm.

Carla's 'Aha' moment came one weekend when she was sitting alone in her office, feeling resentful about working on a beautiful Saturday. She asked herself, 'Why am I the only one working weekends?'  With the Lord's help, she finally realized others weren't working weekends because they chose not to -- and recognized that she, too, had a choice about the kind of life she would create.

She went on to create a more well-rounded life while working in marketing research at the American Cancer Society. During her career, she's facilitated thousands of focus groups, idea generation sessions and interviews, uncovering valuable insights for her clients. 

 

In 2009, Carla received her coaching degree at CoachU. She encourages and challenges her clients using humor and creativity to facilitate profound change. Clients say she has an uncanny ability to zero in quickly and help them identify the points that really matter. Her questions, insights, and intuition inevitably lead to 'Aha' moments that propel them forward to create the lives they crave.

When she's not coaching or speaking, you'll find Carla listening to ‘70s R&B, playing fetch with her Labradoodles (Riley & Bogey), volunteering at church, and traveling with her husband, Al Ray, to exotic locales on their bucket lists.
