Speaking

My dream is to see every woman truly embrace who God uniquely created her to be...

Because, when she does, she’s free to live the joyful and meaningful life He intended just for her!

I long for each and every woman to...

Enjoy authentic confidence -- appreciating who God created her to be, rarely fretting about who she's not.

Spend time on what matters most in God's plan for her life -- managing her energy and prioritizing what's truly important.

Know, and live out, her life's purpose -- making that unique contribution only she can make.

It might sound corny or idealistic. Yet, having experienced it firsthand and seeing others do the same, I know it's possible.

Do I have it all figured out?  No.

Is life perfect?  No.

Do I enjoy life in a way I didn't before?  Yes, yes, yes!

Friends, you don't have to perform or be anything other than who you are.

How do I know?  Because when I stopped wasting time and energy:

Striving, performing, trying to be the best…

Comparing myself to others…

Wishing I were someone I’m not…

I could finally be who God created me to be. The result?

Enjoying confidence based in who I am in Christ, not what I do.

Living out my unique, God-given life purpose.

Laying my head on the pillow at night knowing I'm right where I'm meant to be.

I'd love to share with your group how they can do the same!

Want to know God's unique purpose for you?

We’re called to glorify God, love others, and spread the gospel. The roles we take on give us a sense of purpose--we're daughters, sisters, wives, mothers, friends…

God also has a unique purpose that’s all your own. And, even though finding your purpose sounds difficult, it’s really not.

Carla shares three myths that keep us from living our unique purpose and three truths to help us to live it out.

Foundational Verse:

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:10

What would you do if you had unshakable confidence?

Chances are, you’d take more risks. Worry less about what people think. Have more fun. And, most importantly, live more fully the life God intends for you to live.

In this powerful talk, Carla shares her two-part formula for enjoying authentic confidence.  (Hint:  It's rooted in our identity in Christ!)

Foundational Verse:

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called  children of God!

1 John 3:1

Energize Me!

Do you have energy to do everything you want to do?

So often we find ourselves running on empty. We know our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and that it’s important to eat well and exercise. But have you thought about the other things that drain your energy?

Carla helps you find those hidden energy zappers so you can obliterate them and have more energy for the things that matter most to you.

Foundational Verses:

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:15-16

Carla is such an engaging and effective speaker.  Her personal stories and examples make everything feel so relatable, and her interactive style always gives each member of the audience so much to think about during and after.  She makes progress feel so much more attainable, and everyone learns from each other (and has a good laugh!) via shared experiences.  I left feeling more inspired and ready to take action.

The mini-retreat was really inspiring. I signed up because I needed renewed focus on what God wants for my life. I left with that and more. We touched on a number of different areas, which kept it fresh, interesting, and challenging.  I got fresh insights into my gifts and what truly fulfills me. A month later, I’m having fun creating my purpose statement.  It's changed how I live my life because it involves my relationships with others and I’m excited to step out into it.

I have enjoyed Carla's workshops and talks about knowing God's unique purpose as a woman.  She is a very good communicator with a heart for her audience.  She has a passion for educating other women on who God created them to be.  She has enriched my life with her speaking and her personal coaching.  I would recommend her to faith-based groups who want a vibrant speaker who loves the Lord

Thank you for the beautiful, wonderful gift of the mini-retreat.  I loved the time alone (that I don’t give myself permission enough to do) and connecting with other women.

I realized I haven’t been taking enough time for me.  I’ve been too busy taking care of everybody else. I also hadn’t realized how much I missed -- and how important it is to have --  time bonding with other amazing women!  It was a magical day and I am left wanting more!!!

In the months since, I’ve spent more time doing what I love.  I'm happier and feel I’m more of a “whole person” again.  It all started with the retreat!

A few months ago, I was feeling kind of lost as to my purpose, so I was excited to take part in Carla’s mini-retreat.

I left the retreat feeling more grounded about what I need to focus on: “Finding worthwhile ways to use the gifts God’s given me.”  This focus has given me the courage to get out there and make some changes I’ve been thinking about for a long time.  After 20 years of focusing on my sons’ activities, I’ve rejoined the workforce and am loving contributing and helping in creative, new ways.
