It might sound corny or idealistic. Yet, having experienced it firsthand and seeing others do the same, I know it's possible.
Do I have it all figured out? No.
Is life perfect? No.
Do I enjoy life in a way I didn't before? Yes, yes, yes!
Friends, you don't have to perform or be anything other than who you are.
How do I know? Because when I stopped wasting time and energy:
Striving, performing, trying to be the best…
Comparing myself to others…
Wishing I were someone I’m not…
I could finally be who God created me to be. The result?
Enjoying confidence based in who I am in Christ, not what I do.
Living out my unique, God-given life purpose.
Laying my head on the pillow at night knowing I'm right where I'm meant to be.

Thank you for the beautiful, wonderful gift of the mini-retreat. I loved the time alone (that I don’t give myself permission enough to do) and connecting with other women.
