5 Reasons You've Got to Define Your Life Purpose

The first time I put together a presentation about life purpose, I went through it with my husband to get his feedback. He challenged me, asking "Why do I need to know my life purpose anyway? What good does it do me?" Ahhh. The old What's-in-it-For-Me question. Well, my friends, pinpointing your unique purpose will transform your life!

Five of the many benefits are...

1. You'll find decision-making easier.

When faced with a decision, bring your life purpose into play. Let's say, for example, you view your purpose as mentoring teenagers. Someone asks you to teach young children at church. Sure, you could do it, and it help others. But, if you're passionate about teens, wouldn't you have a greater impact there?

2. Your confidence will soar.

Our purpose always involves things we're good at and that we enjoy. When we're spending time on those things, our confidence shines through.

3. You have a lot more energy.

When intentionally pursuing our purpose, we tap into our greatest passions. We have more energy to do the things that matter most to us.

4. You'll experience a greater sense of fulfillment.

You're using who you are to help others. When you lay your head on the pillow at night, you know that you're right where you're meant to be.

Start exploring your purpose today!
